Couples Counseling

We counsel couples focusing on several different areas including:

Communication & Managing Conflict, Intimacy, How Addiction Impacts the Relationship, Boundaries, Parenting Together, and Challenges with Extended Family

All of our Counselors are trained to work with couples to find practical solutions and experience healing.

Marital Intensive Experience

Ben Dickerson offers work with couples that includes an intensive experience.

Marriage Intensive: 13 hours of counseling over a two-day period, instead of spreading sessions over time.

The Intake is done via electronic format (1 hour) followed by 12 hours of focused couples work.

In weekly sessions much of our time is often spent "putting out fires" from the past week, while in intensives are designed to address deeper issues with more focused conversations. We identify underlying causes of difficulty in the marriage and come up with effective approaches to root problems.

It has been said that “our marriage problems begin in childhood.” We offer a “bottom-up approach” to marital concerns, exploring and beginning the healing of root issues that are triggers for conflict in our most important relationship.
